Statment of Faith
What We Believe
Living Well Fellowship is a Christ-centered ministry rooted in the authority of Scripture. The following beliefs provide the biblical foundation for our ministry, discipleship, teaching, and service.
THE SCRIPTURES
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, without error in its original writings, and the final authority for faith, doctrine, and Christian living.
GOD
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—each fully God, yet one God.
HUMANITY
We believe humanity was created in the image of God and for relationship with Him. Through sin, humanity became separated from God and is in need of redemption and reconciliation.
JESUS CHRIST
We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, sacrificial death on the cross, bodily resurrection, ascension, and promised return.
SALVATION
We believe salvation is the gift of God, made possible through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Salvation is received by God's grace through faith in Christ, bringing forgiveness, reconciliation with God, and new life.
THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer, drawing us into deeper relationship with God, guiding us in truth, producing spiritual fruit, equipping us with gifts for service, and empowering us to live lives that honor Christ.
SANCTIFICATION & THE CHRISTIAN LIFE
We believe followers of Christ are called to continually grow in spiritual maturity and Christlikeness. Our faith should be evident in how we live, love, serve, steward, work, worship, and relate to others.
THE CHURCH
We believe the Church consists of all who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ. Believers are called to gather in Christian community for worship, prayer, teaching, fellowship, encouragement, service, and the making of disciples.
BAPTISM & THE LORD'S SUPPER
We believe water baptism and the Lord's Supper were given by Christ to His followers as meaningful acts of obedience and remembrance. We practice baptism by immersion as the biblical model.
SPIRITUAL GIFTS
We believe God gives spiritual gifts to believers for the building up of the Church, the work of ministry, and the service of others. These gifts are to be exercised in love, humility, biblical order, and for the glory of God.
MARRIAGE & FAMILY
We believe God established marriage as a covenant between one man and one woman for a lifetime. We believe marriage and family provide important contexts for love, discipleship, faithfulness, service, and spiritual formation.
CHRIST'S RETURN
We believe Jesus Christ will return personally and bodily, fulfilling God's redemptive plan and establishing His eternal kingdom. We live in anticipation of His return and seek to faithfully fulfill the mission He has entrusted to His Church.
OUR MISSION
In response to these beliefs, we seek to obey Christ's Great Commission:
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations…” — Matthew 28:19–20
Our desire is to know Christ, reflect His love, obey His Word, make disciples, and help people live whole, purpose-filled lives rooted in Him.
