Living Well Homestead

Grow. Make. Gather. Learn. Live Well.

Rooted in faith, family, stewardship, and hospitality, we are building a way of life centered on growing food, making things with our hands, caring for the land and animals, sharing what we learn, gathering around the table, and creating meaningful experiences with others.

From our rural Texas homestead to our urban South Carolina home, the setting may look different, but the heart is the same: live simply, steward faithfully, welcome generously, and keep learning along the way.

We don't claim to have mastered homesteading. We're growing, experimenting, learning, and sharing the journey as we go.

Two homesteads. One way of Living Well.

Where the soil is tended the soul is healed.

Life at the Homestead

Homesteading, for us, isn't about doing everything the old-fashioned way or having it all figured out. It's about becoming more intentional with what we have, learning useful skills, and sharing the journey with others.

Living Well Homestead brings together food, land, creativity, hospitality, and practical learning in ways that help us—and hopefully others—live a little more connected and a little more intentionally.

We're not teaching from a place of perfection. We're practicing, learning, and growing—and inviting others to learn alongside us.

Gardens, herbs, plants, food production, livestock, and learning to care well for the land and what it produces.

Cooking, preserving, crafting, pottery, traditional skills, and creating useful and beautiful things with our hands.

Shared meals, hospitality, farm experiences, events, and welcoming people into spaces where meaningful connection can happen.

Classes, demonstrations, workshops, and hands-on experiences where we learn together and share practical skills along the way.

Two Homesteads. One Heart.

Living Well Homestead is rooted in two very different places—our rural homestead in Texas and our urban homestead in South Carolina.

One gives us room to cultivate land, raise animals, gather, retreat, and build toward a larger vision. The other reminds us that homesteading doesn't require acres of land to begin.

Together, they allow us to explore and share what Living Well can look like wherever you're planted.

🌿 TEXAS

The Rural Homestead

Our Texas homestead is where we're developing the larger farm vision—growing food, caring for animals and land, creating spaces for hospitality, gathering, learning, retreats, and hands-on experiences.

It's also the home of the developing Rebar Restoration House vision and the setting for experiences such as Be Still & Know.

The Urban Homestead

Our South Carolina homestead demonstrates that living well isn't dependent on owning a large farm.

Here, we're exploring what intentional homesteading can look like in an urban setting through gardening, food, traditional skills, creativity, resourcefulness, hospitality, and making the most of the space we've been given.
